Ray Comfort's Background

Ray Comfort (December 5, 1949) is an a well-known creationist and evangelist born in New Zealand. In 1989, Comfort moved to the United States in order to bring the Way of the Master teaching to the American Church.

Born Jewish, Ray Comfort was not brought up in a Christian home and rarely ever attended church where he found it an insult to his intellect.[2] At the age of 22, Comfort accepted Christ as his Saviour, and since then has been been doing open-air preaching and enthusiastically sharing the Bible with others.

Comfort lives with his wife Sue in Southern California, and they have three grown children, Jacob, Rachel and Daniel.

Evangelist thanks atheists for anti-Christmas billboard

Dec. 1, 2010 - The American Athiests group spent $20,000 for a billboard in New York that says, "You KNOW it's a Myth. This Season, Celebrate REASON!" Evangelist/ apologist Ray Comfort says that he thanks the athiests for encouraging people to reason, think and talk about Christmas.
Comfort is the author of several books about atheism and evolution, including "You Can Lead An Atheist to Evidence, but You Can't Make Him Think," "Nothing Created Everything," and "God Doesn't Believe in Atheists."

Exposed: The scientific impossibility of evolution

Sept. 20, 2009 - Ray Comfort's latest book, Nothing Created Everything, shows that Richard Dawkins and other popular athiests hold the absurd view that everything that exists was created out of nothing.
Dawkins, in his 2004 book "The Ancestor's Tale" wrote, "The fact that life evolved out of nearly nothing, some 10 billion years after the universe evolved literally out of nothing, is a fact so staggering that I would be mad to attempt words to do it justice."
